The job entails:
The service is for a Looked After & Leaving Care Service (16-25 years old)
1. To provide an effective social work service to the community by managing and supervising a team of social workers and other specialist staff, and by contributing to the overall management of the Delivery Unit.
2. The purpose of this post is to support the Team Manager in management of all aspects of the leaving care team’s work, including responsibility for quality of team’s work, monitoring performance indicators, and staff supervision.
3. The Deputy Team Manager supports the Team Manager in providing leadership for their service, assisting in the development of policy and strategy, ensuring the service is effective, adapts to change and delivers good outcomes for children and young people.
