Berneslai Homes has an exciting opportunity for a Stores Assistant to join their team at Carlton Depot.

You will play a key role within the Stores Team, ensuring an effective, comprehensive Stores delivery service is provided to the Operational Teams. This is a busy and demanding role which requires you to be self-motivated and well organised.
The Role
To assist in the efficient, effective delivery of a comprehensive stores service.
To pick materials from stock via electronic requests, ensuring accuracy
To carry out all processes associated with the ordering, storage, stock checking and distribution of materials, plant and equipment
Experience and Skills
Evidence of working in a store or warehouse environment
Experience of working with software applications including Microsoft Office
Demonstrate a positive, flexible approach to team working
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
Ability to organise own workload and effectively prioritise tasks
Knowledge of Health and Safety and manual Handling
Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the service
Hours
The core hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm
This role is for 5 months
PPE must be worn, all PPE will be provided
