Camden Council have a great opportunity for two Accommodation Placements Adviser to join their Housing Allocations Service. The main objective for the post holders is to monitor and extend commercial hotel bookings, deal with rent accounts and any social behaviour from clients. The successful candidates will be responsible for a providing a timely, comprehensive and customer focused service to applicants requiring temporary accommodation To work in partnership with letting agents, commercial hotel and other relative internal departments to effective keep on top of all extensions. Checking invoices to ensure we are paying the correct amount on invoices.
To work in partnership with stakeholders to complete the letting process within set timescales, ensuring the effective and efficient running of the choice based lettings system.
To ensure Council resources are protected and only allocated to those in genuine need of housing by detecting and preventing fraud. The main objective for the post holders is to maximise the number of homes let & residents housed through the Housing Allocations scheme.
This role consists of 35 hours a week and has an hourly pay rate of £20.80 Umbrella
