London Borough of Waltham Forest are looking for an benefits assessment officer who can accurately process all types of Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, and discretionary schemes including Discretionary Housing Payments.
- Experience of processing Local welfare assistance, household support fund and free school meals are desirable but not essential
- dealing with review requests, complaints and queries
- managing a caseload and prioritising cases
- using the Capita processing system and have experience of using a document management system, ideally Civica’s workflow 360 system
