Enfield council are looking for someone to support the Housing Advisory Service (HAS) and its senior management team to grip its management strategy (achieving budget, vacancy factor, absence costs etc) and report on the staffing budget. Identify high-cost temporary accommodation placements ensuring strategies are being progressed to address them, using data to drive financial performance. Ensure compliance with the financial governance framework for the Service and relevant policies and procedures in place across the wider Council.
- Monitor and report on HAS staffing budget -including agency spend, sources of funding to cover workers.
- Report to the Net Deficit Control Board ensure actions are recorded and stored
- Implement the financial governance framework in the Service.
- Identify high-cost placements in temporary accommodation and ensuring strategies are being progressed to address them – basically using data to drive financial performance.
- Reconcile nightly paid rates on Adam to Civica CX computer systems and making the relevant amendments.
- Maintain comprehensive and organised records of all activities.
Payrate: £21.71 umbrella
