Job Details
Carmarthenshire County Council are looking for someone to undertake work in public parks, schools, playing fields, landscaped areas and similar open spaces:
- General maintenance of allocated areas e.g., grass cutting, hedge trimming, and maintenance of sports areas in accordance with approved specification.
- Undertake basic setting out and marking of sports areas and upkeep of artificial / synthetic / natural pitches. Undertake activities utilising craft skills e.g., interpretation of plans, site preparation and construction.
- Cleaning e.g., public buildings such as changing rooms and toilets, parks, playgrounds, and open spaces.
- Have a working knowledge on how to apply pesticides in the proper manner in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines and current legislation.
- Work with minimal supervision and accept responsibility for the direction of the work of trainees and other employees assigned to them.
Must have a full UK drivers License.
Payrate: £17.20
