London borough of haringey are looking for an a proactive individual with a strong drive to support the leisure centre project which entails three leisure centre’s being brought back in house.
The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of the NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent) and GradIOSH (or equivalent professional membership).
The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience of working with leisure centres (or similar) with examples of how they have overcome challenges.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience of providing competent health and safety advice in the public sector or for other large multi-site organisations, based on detailed knowledge of the practical application of current occupational health and safety legislation, best practice in accident and ill health prevention and other related issues, offering creative, constructive and cost-effective solutions. They will demonstrate impeccable written and verbal communication skills, consistently upholding a standard of professionalism in all interactions. Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite, will be essential in efficiently managing tasks and facilitating seamless communication within the team.
