You will be providing customer focused, comprehensive and pragmatic HR advice and support to managers, employees and partners in line within organisational policies, procedures and legal requirements. Aswell as being able to support the delivery of the HR Business Plan, in order to meet Directorate and organisational HR objectives such as the People Strategy.
This is a Hybrid role.
Main Activities & Responsibilities:
To provide a HR Advice and support in relation absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organisational change and the range of employment and employee relations matters.
To develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with managers, partners, colleagues and union representatives, establishing professional credibility.
To lead on the management of casework, relating to discipline, grievance, sickness absence. This includes advice and support to managers, liaising with Occupational Health, case review meetings, and dismissal decision hearings.
To support the development and maintenance of a performance management culture within the Directorate. This includes developing managers’ skills in this area, leading on performance related casework, and advising and guiding managers through the relevant policies.
To provide professional advice to Investigating Officers in formal investigations, interviews and reporting writing.
To provide professional HR advice and support to managers undertaking change programmes including redundancy and TUPE.
To drive performance and attainment of HR KPI’s for casework, sickness absence and change activity.
