Job Details
The job holder will:
● To operate a service visiting and inspecting locations as prescribed, ensuring areas of housing land are free of debris and graffiti as appropriate. To ensure all site visits on the scheduled route are completed within prescribed schedule visit times and thereafter provide a ‘responsive service’ as required or directed
● To carry out all duties in compliance with Health and Safety legislation, other relevant legislative or statutory guidance and SHP’s Codes of Practice.

● To complete a record of bulk waste, tree surgery, graffiti removal and other activity carried out each day, citing location; (load weights provided at Council’s waste disposal depot on discharge); day of removal. This record to be completed daily, on a weekly worksheet log.
● To monitor and report instances of fly tipping, bulk refuse, graffiti, abandoned vehicles, unauthorised parking, communal repairs etc during the day-to-day performance of normal duties. To record such items on the weekly worksheet/timesheet log provided. To report emergencies and potential hazards to SHP immediately and seal off area as appropriate
● Order and maintain supplies of materials and equipment, to ensure adequate stock is held in asecure store and operationally at all times.
● To maintain and inspect motor vehicles and other equipment in use daily reporting and logging faults
immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
● To work as part of a mobile team dealing with graffiti, bulk refuse, general caretaking, landscape design/planting,
tree groundwork, lamp changing, external repairs, grounds and cleaning duties
● Borough wide, for the benefit of all residents.
● To be a representative of SHP on the estate during the performance of duties
