Shropshire Council are looking for an Personal Adviser to with young people leaving care and support them with their health, accommodation, employment or training, finances, benefits, relationships and identity.
Shropshire have statutory responsibilities to remain in regular contact with care leavers and to update their plans every 6 months wherever they live in the UK. We have an office base in Shrewsbury but this is a hybrid post and the successful applicant will be provided with all the equipment needed to support working from home.
They are looking for someone who has a good understanding of the needs of young people with care experience, and additional skills such as knowledge of benefits, housing, supporting asylum seekers, and education.
