About the Role

A well-established law firm in East London is seeking a Post Completion Paralegal to join its busy conveyancing department. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to develop their career within residential property law. You will play a key role in ensuring all post-completion matters are handled efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all post-completion tasks following residential conveyancing transactions.
  • Prepare and submit AP1 and SDLT forms accurately and within deadlines.
  • Liaise with the Land Registry, HMRC, clients, and lenders to resolve any requisitions or queries.
  • Check and file completion statements and mortgage discharge documents.
  • Ensure all client and lender requirements are satisfied post-completion.
  • Maintain up-to-date case records on the firm’s case management system.
  • Assist solicitors and fee earners with administrative and compliance tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a post-completion or conveyancing support role within a law firm.
  • Sound understanding of the conveyancing process and Land Registry procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple files and meet strict deadlines.
  • Confident communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach.
