Enfield has over 100 parks and open spaces that are available every day of the year. The Parks include playgrounds, major areas of countryside and sports play pitches. Staff will also be working in our Highways and Housing Team and our Cemeteries Maintenance Team.
The Parks team require staff to help us to keep them in the excellent condition our visitors demand
We are looking for enthusiastic and self motivated individuals with the following skills and experience:
Previous experience in grounds maintenance desirable
Minimum plant knowledge – desirable
Understanding of Health & Safety – essential
Ability to take and understand clear instructions – essential
Ability to work in all weather conditions – essential
Ability to complete physical tasks unsupervised- essential
Customer Care experience / dealing with public – desirable
Ability to work within a team or as a lone worker – essential
Driving licence allowing up to 3.5 tonne (transit tipper) – preferred but not essential
Umbrella hourly rate – £14.50
