Commercial and Assurance Head
• MCIPS or Equivalent
• Recent public sector experience in large and complex environment
• Worked at Head or Deputy Head style level
• On site requirement min 2 days per week
• Challenge at board level and work with directors and drive savings in departments
• Lead strategic negotiations with significant parners
• Work within Supplier Relationship Management methodology
• Solid understanding of Supply Assurance providing leadership and decisiveness
• Oversee contract variations, providing advice and direction
• Provide assurance agreements reviewed provide Value for Money
• Take responsibility for an oversee delivery of improved performance and savings
• Experienced identifying and discuss effective management and mitigation of risk
• Political awareness and organizational priorities maintained
• Utilise analysis effectively and liaise with Category Management and Procurement
• Identify and maximise opportunities for income generation
• Understanding of ring fenced budgets, grants, revenue and capital expenditure
• Work in complex and political stakeholder environment
• Motivation and energy for driving supply transformation and innovation
• Used to a level of direction followed by autonomy with reporting back on results
• Able to quickly provide market insight and forge relationships with senior stakeholders
Umbrella hourly rate – £51.35
