Job Summary:
The NEC Housing Business Analyst will be part of the team responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of the NEC Housing system within the local authority. This role requires a strong background in business analysis, and preferred experience with NEC housing.
The NEC Business Analyst will work closely with various stakeholders, including business users, module leads, Housing Management IT, external vendors, and NEC to ensure the system meets the local authority’s requirements and is delivered on time and within budget.

• Experienced business analyst
• Large project implementations of Housing Management Systems
• Social Housing
• Local Authorities
• Northgate/NEC Housing
• Experience preferred in the following Northgate/NEC modules
Key responsibilities
• Process mapping AS IS and TO BE Business processes, including making changes, updates and amends
• Creating Use Case Descriptions for system functionality, linking these with the tables in the Solution Design
• Creating User Stories to support creation of Acceptance Criteria and Testing
• Matching system functionality to tasks within business processes
• Creating, updating and maintaining the processes work plan spreadsheet
• Meeting with service areas and officers to map processes
• Attending NEC workshops
• Updating and maintaining the security spreadsheet
• Creating User Guides where necessary
• Supporting with Familiarisation Criteria to support Super-Users
• This role will support existing BA to attend other NEC workshops when there is a clash
Umbrella hourly rate – £568.58
