Purpose of the post:

To provide a high quality performance and support service that supports the People Commissioning Transport service. .

To ensure that all business processes, performance measures and targets are monitored, analysed and reported to achieve directorate objectives in line with the corporate strategy and vision and to support continuously improving performance.

Main Accountabilities:

Undertake performance analysis to interpret complex information from a range of sources, providing up to date management information, performance measure progress and statistical forecasts to address current and future business requirements for the service.


Identify and implement improvements for business information gathering processes that enable the production of data that meets the requirements of the service function, including, contract compliance, the cost effective use of transport activities, whether procured or directly provided to ensure best value, the production and evaluation of transport commissioning & eligibility performance management information.
Support the Transport Commissioning & Eligibility lead to effectively manage capital and revenue budgets to ensure delivery of best value in transport provision and associated activities including:  market analysis, financial performance, forecasting and compliance with Financial Regulations.


Produce accurate, timely reports that provide analysis and commentary regarding performance across the service area, that support the business to understand their results and inform actions to optimize performance.
Support business planning and reporting processes to assess and monitor key performance measures linked to strategy, including risk analysis, developingaction plans and trackers.
