Description:
We are seeking to recruit a Personal Advisor (PA) to work within the Care Leavers Service in Cared for Children.
- The role is to support young people who are leaving care
- PAs work with the young people and offer support to these young people around many areas of their lives:
- Health and Emotional Well-being. GP, Dental and Optical
- Identity: Ethnicity, religion, self-care and presentation.
- Family and social
- Finances: Budgeting and practical skills
- Accommodation
- UASC
Applicants must have experience of working with young people/young adults around and knowledge of the legislation around Care for Children and Care leavers.
Acting as an advocate on behalf of care leavers to ensure their needs are met.
