Overview:
The Maintenance Surveyor is responsible for diagnosing building defects, overseeing repairs and maintenance programmes, and ensuring all works are completed to regulatory standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication, and effective coordination between tenants, contractors, and professional teams to maintain safe, compliant, and high-quality properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilised advanced technical skills to diagnose structural issues and implement effective repair solutions, enhancing the overall lifespan and performance of properties.

  • Maintained accurate records of completed works, outstanding repairs, and maintenance schedules to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy.

  • Liaised with tenants, owners, and stakeholders to plan and coordinate repair works, ensuring minimal disruption to occupants and smooth project delivery.

  • Conducted comprehensive property inspections to assess condition and verify compliance with building and safety regulations.

  • Collaborated with contractors and suppliers to ensure all works were delivered to high-quality standards, within budget, and in accordance with specifications.

  • Provided rapid response to emergency repair situations, mitigating risks and ensuring minimal property damage.

  • Worked closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to plan and execute maintenance and refurbishment projects from inception to completion.
