About the Role

As a Business Support Officer, you will provide a wide range of administrative and business support services to ensure the effective delivery of Directorate priorities. You’ll work closely with colleagues and stakeholders, helping to maintain high standards of service while contributing to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support, including arranging meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
  • Respond to enquiries, including handling service-related queries in line with procedures
  • Collate and prepare management information and reports
  • Support building management tasks such as maintenance coordination, repairs, and security administration
  • Deliver accurate typing and document production (digital, audio, or copy typing)
  • Assist with financial processes, including petty cash and stock control
  • Maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and external partners
  • Provide a professional and courteous reception service when required
  • Contribute to process improvements and business continuity activities
