Job Details
To help keep the Council’s buildings, staff, and visitors safe from fire by ensuring fire safety laws are followed, identifying risks, and providing expert advice and training.
| Develop and maintain fire safety policies and standards, keeping them up to date with changes in legislation and best practice. | ||||||
| Develop and deliver fire safety training to improve staff awareness and safe working practices. | ||||||
| Prepare fire safety reports, risk assessments, and CAD fire safety plans to document findings and required actions. | ||||||
| Provide expert fire safety advice to managers and staff, ensuring compliance with fire safety legislation. | ||||||
| Identify fire hazards and recommend practical solutions to reduce or eliminate fire risks. | ||||||
| Carry out fire risk assessments and fire safety inspections across Council buildings and work activities. |
Day Overview
37 Hour per week (Mon-Fri)
PAYE Pay Rate – £18.26
