North Yorkshire council are looking for an accountant to work will include introducing, developing and documenting financial processes and procedures in relation to debtors, creditors, balance sheet and bank reconciliations and year-end closedown.
- Working closely with service managers, provide regular financial monitoring, undertake budget and financial planning work and support the managers in grant claim submissions.
- Qualified Accountant (CIPFA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) Public sector experience preferable Experience of using Xero – Essential Working with minimum supervision and often taking the initiative, the role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a strong financial background
Payrate£28.04 umbrella
Hybrid working – mainly from home but may be required to attend Northallerton / Harrogate offices
