| We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join us as an Audit Officer, within a national policing unit working to ensure safer communities in the UK and around the world. The successful applicants will support the ACRO Audit Supervisor in carrying out integrity monitoring and compliance auditing of police and law enforcement systems. This will also include reviewing policies and procedures in accordance with the strategic ACRO audit schedule. The role is responsible for producing monthly departmental reports to assist the ACRO Audit Supervisor in various committees. Candidates will ideally possess: • Excellent working knowledge of using IT systems and the use of databases and spreadsheets. • Ability to pay attention to detail. • To have an awareness of the purpose and processes of Audit. This is a 12 week agency contract with the possibility of being made permanent subject to performance. Please note this is not based at Fareham Police Station, we are near Fareham. We are easily accessible from the M27.
