ROLE DESCRIPTION

The role of the Case Conference Coordinator is to manage the organisation, booking, data
collection and minuting of Child Protection Conferences. To maintain the Department’s Child
Protection list, having responsibility for the accuracy and security of its records in accordance with
information governance procedures and in line with child protection statutory guidance. To provide
professional, confidential and high-quality organisation in relation to all conference activity. Team
members may be asked to work in a flexible and agile way across the operations function to carry
out other reasonable duties to ensure resilience and service delivery.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will need to:
• Maintain and develop efficient and effective business support systems for Child Protection
Conferences e.g. management information systems, filing systems, accurate and timely
data returns, and to implement improvements as required.
• Undertake customer service functions, including call handling.
• Create records on the case management systems.
• Participate in workforce development and service training events.
• Contribute to the wider operational and service development taking on additional
responsibilities commensurate with the role.
• To convene, manage invitations and data collections systems and prepare an accurate
and comprehensive record of conference proceedings and decisions.
• Following each conference to agree final drafts of documentation with Chair and
distribute information to conference attendees and other agreed parties in line with
Information Governance Procedures.
• To manage, input, update and retrieve information regarding Child Protection
conferences held on internal data systems including Mosaic (child electronic record)
• To be the first line contact for resolving queries concerning administrative procedures,
ensuring that Child Protection procedures are complied with.
• Take initiative in organising conferences and other related meetings
• Record minutes of complex multiagency meetings to an agreed minimum standard
ensuring accuracy and high-quality presentation incorporating standard service templates
as appropriate.
• Produce reports including statistical information and data and presentations
incorporating the use of Microsoft Office programs such as Power point and Word for the
Operations Team Manager or other service as agreed.

Pay rate: £26.62 per hour umbrella

Three to six months contract with view to extend or make permanent
