Job Title: Caseworker Assistant – SEND (Assessment & Review)
Overview
We are seeking a Caseworker Assistant to support the SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Assessment & Review team within Children’s Services.
This is a key administrative role focused on supporting statutory SEND processes, ensuring accurate data management, and helping the team meet strict legal deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to SEND caseworkers across assessment and review processes
- Log and track EHCNA requests and Annual Review paperwork
- Send reminders and ensure all documentation is received within required timescales
- Prepare panel agendas, take minutes, and distribute feedback/outcomes
- Maintain accurate records on Liquid Logic (EHM module) and other systems
- Support data quality and ensure information is up to date and compliant
- Liaise with schools, families, and professionals to gather and share information
- Process invoices using Agresso for approval
- Assist with general admin tasks and support team projects as required
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or support role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Good attention to detail and data accuracy
- Confident communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience using case management systems (e.g. Liquid Logic) is desirable
- Knowledge of SEND / EHCP processes is desirable
