Overall Purpose of Job • To support Housing in the administration of the defects period for new developments ensuring effective defects management system that delivers a quality service to new tenants. • To be part of a joint approach to ensure that new properties available are let efficiently and in accordance with the council’s allocations scheme and other set objectives. • To analyse and report upon performance data relating to defects to identify areas for improvement. • To be part of a service wide approach to improving defects performance. Job Context 1. The post holder reports to the Head of Housing Property Services. 2. The post holder has no management responsibility 3. The post holder has no budgetary responsibility. 4. The post holder may be required to work evenings, weekends and occasional public holidays, in order to meet service requirements. The post holder may be required to attend evening meetings of resident groups.
