Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to provide expert legal advice and support across a range of employment law matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on employment-related issues, managing legal cases, supporting clients with workplace matters, and delivering high-quality legal guidance.
This is a fully remote, full-time opportunity for an experienced employment law professional who can work independently, manage their workload effectively, and provide commercially focused legal advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on a wide range of employment law matters.
- Advise on employment contracts, workplace policies, and employment documentation.
- Support clients with employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes, grievances, and dismissals.
- Handle employment disputes and support with Employment Tribunal matters where required.
- Advise on redundancy processes, settlement agreements, and termination of employment.
- Provide guidance on discrimination, equality, and workplace rights issues.
- Draft, review, and amend employment-related legal documents.
- Identify legal risks and provide practical, commercially focused solutions.
- Manage multiple employment law matters while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Required Experience & Skills
- Qualified Employment Lawyer/Solicitor with strong experience in employment law.
- Demonstrable experience advising on UK employment legislation.
- Experience handling a range of employment matters, including disputes, contracts, and employee relations issues.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a full workload remotely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality legal advice.
Desirable Experience
- Experience managing Employment Tribunal claims.
- Experience advising both employers and employees.
- Strong negotiation and settlement experience.
- Previous experience working in a remote legal environment.
