Role Overview

We are looking for a flexible and reliable Estate Services Mobile Floater Operative to provide cleaning cover across a number of estates and sites.

The role will primarily provide cover for annual leave, sickness absence and other operational requirements. As this is a mobile position, you will travel between different locations during the working day and will be required to drive a company van.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general communal cleaning, including dusting, mopping and vacuuming.
  • Undertake high-level and low-level cleaning.
  • Complete deep cleaning of communal areas.
  • Clean bin stores and other communal areas.
  • Use cleaning machinery and equipment, including buffers and carpet-cleaning machines where required.
  • Provide holiday and sickness cover across different estates.
  • Respond to additional cleaning requirements as needed.
  • Complete assigned Risk Hub jobs and ensure jobs are correctly closed once work has been completed.
  • Take before-and-after photographs where required as evidence of completed work.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation across all assigned sites.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment and machinery is used safely and correctly.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid full driving licence – essential.
  • Ability and confidence to drive a company van.
  • Previous cleaning experience, ideally within communal, estate or residential environments.
  • Ability to travel between multiple sites during the working day.
  • Reliable, flexible and able to work independently.
  • Good understanding of safe working practices and health and safety.
