Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable Gardener to carry out grounds maintenance on council estates, ensuring grassed areas and shrub beds are kept clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Grass cutting and lawn maintenance
- Hedge trimming and shrub bed upkeep
- Weeding and general grounds maintenance
- Use of gardening machinery and hand tools
- Maintaining cleanliness of outdoor communal areas
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Experience using gardening machinery (e.g. mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters)
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good level of physical fitness
Desirable
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or similar role
- Experience working on council estates or public spaces
