| Hiab Operator / Grab Driver We have an excellent opportunity for a Hiab Operator / Grab driver based at our Shrewsbury depot. The successful candidate will be required to carry out highways support work in highway drainage, highway defects, minor works and sign installation along with other duties which are deemed appropriate to the post. The post being advertised is interim. The candidate will hold a current full driving licence with significant experience of working within the street lighting / highways / utilities / construction and maintenance sector. As this role involves working on the highway network, we also require someone with an excellent awareness of health and safety legislation and traffic management systems pertaining to highways construction and maintenance. Must be prepared to take an active role in operations and construction activities without the vehicle as well as with. A full driving licence at least LGV cat C. A CPCS/ NPORS or equivalent lorry loader qualification. A slinging and signalling qualification.
