| The Green Transformation Policy & Partnership Manager will play a key role in delivering the Council’s Green Transformation agenda, including enabling the district to achieve net zero carbon emissions. Responsibility for leading the development of:
• Cross-cutting policy relating the climate and ecological emergencies
• Influencing and enabling Council and partner action on climate and environmental sustainability.
• Council-wide strategic framework and tool to ensure decision-making across the organization considers all aspects of environmental sustainability, including net zero and nature recovery, whilst also addressing inequalities.
• Relationship-building, influencing and supporting senior managers and leaders, internally and externally, through management and coordination of a number of internal and external partnerships. |
