Role Summary

The post holder will have responsibility for the effective and efficient operation and delivery of a function or cluster of locality services (in this case the Front door and MASH) which have a direct impact on the health or quality of life of individuals and/or protection of the vulnerable.

The post holder will have responsibility for delivering high level advice and guidance which significantly influences, either directly or indirectly, the trust and confidence of the community and/or Council.

This will involve the strategic planning, review, design and transformation of services to deliver sustainable and safe outcomes for high risk vulnerable client groups to ensure people’s needs are met and value for money achieved.

To ensure the effective and efficient operation of services (MASH and assessment teams) providing initial multi-agency response to concerns regarding vulnerable children and those at risk across the Borough including provision of emergency out of hours response.

Operationally manage, lead and develop the local authority response and specialist services to children and young people at risk of or experiencing Child Exploitation.

To work strategically with partners to support the delivery of effective and efficient services to children.

To be strategic lead on behalf of RMBC Children’s Services in relation to domestic abuse including MARAC.

To provide strategic link on behalf of RMBC Children’s Services to MAPPA arrangements

To provide strategic link on behalf of RMBC Children’s Services to NCA and arrangements supporting Operation Stovewood.

Pay rate: £600 per day umbrella

Three to six months contract with view to extend or make permanent
