Slough Borough Council are looking for an Housing Project Officer To support delivery of excellent housing management services to our customers to the highest possible standards ensuring that operational performance is high.


  1. Deliver against agreed project objectives with regular progress reports.
  2. Support any of the housing teams in providing housing management services, where required.
  3. To maintain the highest standards of personal and professional behaviour in keeping with the profile of the role inside and outside the organisation

As a member of the Tenancy Management & RMI Contract Management Team this post has a priority and specific project management focus supporting the Council’s approach to its response to:

  • damp and mould;
  • fire safety consultation and liaison role in sheltered and 2 blocks of high rise flats;
  • embedding a new alarm monitoring system into the Council’s sheltered housing;

and supporting the generic housing management function which includes:

  • Estate Management
  • New tenant visits and tenancy sign up
  • Tenancy verification & fraud prevention
  • Requesting responsive maintenance
  • Addressing anti-social behaviour

Payrate: £22.00 umbrella
