Job Details
- Assist line managers in monitoring and utilisation of the sickness absence procedure
- Assist the HR Manager & HRBPs to provide support (including administrative) and guidance to managers in all employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinaries, ending fixed term contracts
- To advise and support managers and the HR team on recruitment and selection options and processes
- To assist in the creation of advertising vacancies, candidate correspondence and contractual documentation, with our HR Support Officers
- Support managers in effectively implementing organisational changes and realise efficiencies/savings from their people plans
- Support the HR Manager to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the Council’s approach to equality and diversity, including our Public Sector Equality Duties
- To assist in the development and delivery of our Organisational Development Strategy, and subsequent programmes of work as well as other HR-led projects.
- To input into the review of contractual policies and procedures
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
