HR Assistant

Job Details

Southwark council are looking for an HR assistant provide administrative support to the payroll team including payroll officers and the Senior Payroll Officer.Work with colleagues across HR and Payroll to provide an efficient payroll service for
Southwark Council.

 

1. Assist or process (as required) monthly payroll including the generation of payslips,
P45 and P60s.

2. Post monthly payslips to staff as and when required.
3. Manage any in-coming post relating to payroll.
4. Monitor payroll inbox and direct employee and manager salary and payroll queries
to the correct payroll officer or manager
5. Assist with reporting from payroll in line with HR and business requirements.
6. Follow up with line managers across Southwark Council for missing information as
required.
7. Ensure compliance with the Councils HR processes and procedures.
8. Provide support to payroll officers and managers on the analysis of payroll and HR
data.
9. Provide support and advice to employees and managers on the use of ESS and
MSS self-service.
10.Any other payroll duties as required by the business.
