DUTIES

  • Supporting the implementation of business change and transformation projects to assist in the provision, development and implementation of the project deliverables which contribute towards the achievement of business objectives. • Providing accurate analysis, management information, and regular reports for quality improvement activities; ensuring all employment and HR-related projects and activities run smoothly and according to agreed deadlines.
    • Co-ordinating the governance reporting from within the HR/Directorate Programmes to senior boards and ensuring consistency in the quality of reporting across the programmes.
    • Ensuring that all changes to scope, plans and budgets across HR/Directorate Programmes and projects follow a rigorous control procedure.
    • Inputting, processing and maintaining key project-related data through a variety of HR and IT systems (e.g. manual and electronic records, iTrent HR system).
    • Maintaining up-to-date employment records and systems to ensure excellence in practice, and compliance with GDPR requirements; maintaining confidentiality at all times.
    • Preparing and maintaining relevant qualitative and quantitative information and analytical support to the teams and stakeholders as and when required.
    • Developing and maintaining excellent and effective working relationships; including internal Council teams, external key stakeholders, Trade Unions, Professional Associations, other staff representatives. Attending consultation meetings as appropriate.
    • Supporting the teams with the delivery of communications about business change.
    • Engaging with stakeholders at numerous health, social care, and other sectors, including complex settings, within the locality.
    • Providing a full range of business and project support to the HR Business Partner and other team members (as required), responding to queries and requests, offering a professional service by recording details of enquiries and handling them in a timely and appropriate manner.
    • Attending meetings and events, preparing information beforehand and taking meeting minutes and/or action points.
    • Keeping up-to-date with developments in employment legislation and HR best practice, sharing knowledge within the team to ensure continuous development and improvement in the service offered.
    • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of and a strong commitment to the Council’s equal opportunities policy, ensuring that all advice/guidance is within the framework of the policy.
    • Attending any required training and development opportunities.
    • Undertaking any other duties required by the teams, commensurate with the grade of the post
