Insurance Broker

Job Details

We are looking for an Insurance Broker to be responsible for the renewal of existing clients and the placing of new business with our agencies. It is the responsibility of the Broker to renew a minimum of 95% of the existing policies and ensure that we have correct agencies to facilitate new business. You must have a comprehensive knowledge of the appetites of our agencies and track the performance of the agency to ensure that it is fit for purpose. In addition, you must ensure our quotes meet the demand and needs of our clients and treat them fairly.

Job Responsibilities & Performance Standards

1. Implement our Renewal Process.
2. Implement the New Business Quotation Process – using Audit Packs and the Insurer Appetite list.
3. Help and train and support junior staff members
4. Produce a Broker Report which compares and contrasts the clients existing policy with the new quotes we have provided them.
5. Complete Audit Packs for each risk worked.
6. Must consistently use CRM system to diarise reminders to call people and update details of existing/new clients. Complete health checks on all current clients.
7. Complete fact finds with all required information. Create a comprehensive in-house, Industry specific Fact Find questionnaire.
8. Where appropriate quote the renewal/new business quote with broker fees as per the
Trevellyan terms and conditions.
9. Complete required Broker Assess training to keep up to date with knowledge and fulfil FCA continuous professional development requirements.
10. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of FCA compliance.
11. Every day, complete a Tracker Report and distribute this to your Manager & Senior
Management.

Minimum Qualifications/Education/Experience/Training/Knowledge
 Qualifications and Education: CII preferred
 Experience (Years & Type): 5 years +
 Knowledge: Wide Range of Commercial Insurance Markets
