Insurance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance Manager to train and manage the team to service new and existing business. As a manager it is your responsibility
to be self motivated to deliver results. You will have the ability to consistently hit team targets and KPIs by working closely with your colleagues & management to ensure that your actions fully support the business operational requirements in line with company’s code of conduct and organisational culture.

Job Responsibilities & Performance Standards
 Develop a training programme to train junior brokers. This should include tests.
 Manage the team to ensure we maintain our retention levels in terms of renewals.
 Manage the team to hit monthly new business income targets.
 Manage the team to Building and maintaining business relationships with clients.
 Ensure clients understand their insurance policies.
 Provide recommendations to clients on policy suitability.
 Ensure the business uses all of its agencies and develops new ones when necessary.
 Continuously improve of Fact Finds.
 Pinpoint and then improve processes and procedures.
 Provide performance reports to senior Operations Manager.
 Daily Monitoring of staff performance.
 Auditing risks to check maintain quality standards and FCA compliance.
 Ensure all notes and documents are captured in the system.
 Produce daily, weekly, monthly reports that track the performance of the staff and the business.
 Hold internal / external meetings with insurers to help develop better working relationships.
 Manage the team to be able to conduct client Visits for both New Business & Renewals.
 Hold monthly documented One to One review meetings with your team members.
 Coach, mentor, encourage your colleagues to perform.
 Strictly follow business administration processes in support of job and team management.
 Ability to submit to multiple insurance software platforms.
 Comprehensive knowledge of underwriter’s requirements to deliver fully from the start.

Minimum Qualifications/Education/Experience/Training/Knowledge

 Qualifications and Education: Cii preferred.
 Experience (Years & Type): Min 6 years Management and Brokerage experience.
 Knowledge: Wide Range of Commercial Insurance Markets.
