IT Support Consultant

Job Details

As an IT Support Consultant for Brent Council, your primary responsibilities would include:

  1. Providing technical support to end-users within the council, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  2. Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
  3. Responding to IT support requests via phone, email, or in-person and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  4. Assisting with the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, switches, routers, and other networking equipment.
  5. Conducting user training sessions and creating documentation to help users understand and utilize IT systems effectively.
  6. Collaborating with other IT staff and departments to implement new technologies and systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
  7. Ensuring compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security protocols to safeguard sensitive information and systems.
  8. Participating in IT projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing technical expertise and support to achieve project goals.
  9. Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in IT support and sharing knowledge with colleagues to enhance team performance.

Pay rate : £400 per day
