Job Description: KS5 Science / Chemistry Teacher (Part-Time)
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will ideally specialise in Chemistry, although teachers with expertise in other science disciplines are also encouraged to apply.
The role involves teaching KS5 students, delivering either Applied Science or Chemistry, depending on the individual’s subject strengths and experience. This is a part-time position working three days per week (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday).
The placement has the potential to be extended beyond the initial period, subject to performance and school requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality KS5 Science lessons

Teach Applied Science and/or Chemistry based on subject specialism

Assess, monitor, and support student progress

Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment

Work collaboratively with department staff
Position Requirements:

Available to work Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

Qualified Science Teacher (Chemistry preferred, other sciences welcomed)

Experience teaching Key Stage 5

Strong classroom management and communication skills
