Position Requirements

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Nurse / Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our early years team on a maternity cover. Required from 11th May for a minimum 9 months, with the possibility of extension Working Hours 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (term time only) – these hours are strictly non-negotiable.

Essential Requirements

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years Education (or equivalent) Extensive nursery experience within an early years setting.

Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Confident in supporting both learning and care needs of young children Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required

Role and Responsibilities

Take responsibility for a group of part-time nursery children, ensuring their care, learning, and development needs are met Support across the wider nursery classroom, contributing to a stimulating and safe learning environment Carry out general nursery and school duties as required, including observations, planning support, and routine care tasks Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality early years provision
