Job Title: Joiner (Kitchen & Bathroom Refurbishment)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Joiner to work on kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects within occupied local authority domestic properties. The role involves fitting kitchen units, worktops, and carrying out all associated joinery tasks as part of a planned refurbishment programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Install kitchen units, including base and wall cabinets
- Fit worktops accurately and to a high standard
- Carry out associated joinery works such as trims, fittings, adjustments, and finishing work
- Ensure all work is completed in line with specification and quality standards
- Work efficiently within occupied properties, maintaining a professional and respectful approach to residents
- Minimise disruption, noise, and mess while working in tenants’ homes
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Work as part of a refurbishment team delivering multiple property upgrades
Working Environment
- Domestic, occupied local authority housing
- Planned refurbishment programme across multiple properties
- Team-based environment with varied daily locations
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a joiner or kitchen fitter
- Ability to install kitchen units and worktops to a high standard
- Good general carpentry/joinery skills
- Ability to work in occupied homes with care and professionalism
- Understanding of health and safety on site
