Job Title: MOT Tester / Light Vehicle Technician
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and qualified MOT Tester / Light Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and MOT testing to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light vehicles
- Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs
- Conduct MOT tests (Class 4, 5 & 7 if licensed) in line with DVSA standards
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out
Requirements:
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- IMI Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3)
- MOT Tester Licence (Class 4, 5 & 7) preferred
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
