In this role, you’ll draw together a range of support services for residents in your patch – including caretaking, repairs, and social services – to provide a truly person-centred approach. From Anti-Social Behaviour, hoarding, to property transfers, you’ll juggle a complex workload. Often the first point of contact at times of difficulty, you’ll solve problems in partnership with residents, and help them understand how council policy and procedures relate to them. You should also expect to liaise with outside agencies such as the police and environmental services, as well as councillors and MPs. From time to time, you will also be called upon to deal with emergencies.
Candidates will require to have a good knowledge and experience of Housing Management including Anti Social Behaviour, and Tenancy Management.
