| • Purpose of Job: Supporting the homes for Ukraine manager with bringing together the work of the multi-disciplinary Homes for Ukraine team who are undertaking the following checks and assessments: o Property check o Wellbeing assessment – sponsor o DBS checks of sponsor and household o Safeguarding checks of the sponsor and household o Ensuring the welcome payment is made to the person arriving from Ukraine and the thank you payments to the sponsor o Provide advice and information and short term additional support if needed • Supporting the Homes for Ukraine manager with Creating and leading project teams as required to successfully deliver this programme of work • Drawing on significant expertise, support Homes for Ukraine with project management activities related to any of the projects/programmes that may be ongoing, ensuring that they are effectively managed • The role will be complex, challenging. The post holder will display excellent judgment, political astuteness and have confidence in working closely with – and advising – the homes for Ukraine and other senior officers.
