Job Description

We are looking for a Tenant Data Collection Officer to help ensure our tenant records are accurate, complete, and up to date. In this role, you will work directly with tenants, visiting homes and using surveys and interviews to gather essential information, while maintaining high standards of customer service, data accuracy, and GDPR compliance. You will play an important part in improving the quality of housing data to support effective service delivery.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

  1. Maintain accurate and up to date tenant records on various systems, including personal information and tenancy details. 
  2. Produce reports on tenant data and identify gaps. 
  3. Gather tenant information through various methods, including surveys, interviews and document reviews. 
  4. Visit tenants in their homes to obtain the necessary information, adhering to risk assessments and lone working practices at all times. 
  5. Generate surveys utilizing Microsoft Office and web-based forms, and liaise with internal colleagues to promote the benefits of completion. 
  6. Provide excellent customer service, signposting tenants to relevant information as required. 
  7. Communicate with tenants regarding data collection processes and ensure transparency. 
  8. Communicate effectively with tenants, stakeholders and internal colleagues to ensure data accuracy and consistency. 
  9. Ensure proper consent is obtained for data processing activities and manage consent preferences. 
  10. Apply data minimization principles to only collect and retain necessary information, and ensure data confidentiality and compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR). 
  11. Carry out any other duties that are within the scope and grading of the post which could also be requested by the line manager or Head of Service.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

Evenings and weekend work may be required from time to time.

 

Weekly Hours: 37

 

PAYE Pay Rate: £19.95 per hour
