Client: Charnwood Borough Council
Location: Council Offices, Southfield Road, Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE11 2TX, United Kingdom
PAYE Pay Rate: £20 per hour
Work Pattern: Monday – Thursday 8am -4pm & Fridays 8am -3.30pm
Main Purpose
To carry out high-quality plumbing repairs and maintenance in council homes across Charnwood, providing a professional and customer-focused service to tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance.
- Diagnose and fix plumbing faults.
- Repair taps, toilets, pipes, sinks, baths and showers.
- Complete work safely, efficiently and to a good standard.
- Keep properties clean and tidy after work.
- Communicate professionally with tenants.
- Record completed work and report any additional issues.
- Work well with the wider repairs team.

Typical Day
Review jobs, travel to council properties, diagnose plumbing problems, complete repairs, communicate with tenants, update job records and move on to the next repair.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Plumbing qualification or strong relevant plumbing experience.
