Work Pattern: Usually Tuesdays in the office, the rest of the week working from home

PAYE Pay Rate: £21-22 per hour

Main Purpose of the Role

To manage leasehold accounts, service charges, major works, ground rent and shared ownership charges, ensuring accurate billing and recovery in line with leases and legislation.

Typical Day Overview

  • Calculate and issue service charges and major works bills.
  • Manage Section 20 consultations.
  • Deal with leaseholder and shared owner enquiries.
  • Explain service charges, leases and relevant legislation.
  • Resolve queries and disputes.
  • Support recovery of unpaid charges and rents.
  • Maintain accurate records and housing systems.

Key Skills / Responsibilities

  • Leasehold management experience.
  • Strong Section 20 consultation experience.
  • Service charge and major works knowledge.
  • Good understanding of leases and housing legislation.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Good numerical and administrative skills.
  • Accurate record keeping and attention to detail.

Essential Requirements

  • Essential: Leasehold Management experience.
  • Essential: Section 20 consultation experience.
  • Knowledge of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.
  • Experience with service charges and major works.
  • Good IT, numerical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to deal confidently with leaseholders and resolve queries.
