PAYE Pay Rate: £98.57 per day
Work Pattern: The nursery is open 8am to 6pm, shifts will either be early, middle or late shifts to cover the needs of the nursery.
The Role
You will help provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children can learn, play and reach their full potential. You will plan and support activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and work closely with children, parents/carers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children’s learning and development through play and EYFS activities.
- Observe and record children’s progress.
- Build positive relationships with children and families.
- Support safeguarding, health and safety procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Promote inclusion, diversity and individual needs.
- Maintain children’s learning records and communicate with parents/carers.
Essential Requirements
- Recognised Level 3 or above childcare qualification.
- Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
- Experience working or volunteering with children aged 0–5 in a nursery or pre-school.
- Knowledge of EYFS, child development and safeguarding.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
- Flexibility to work between 7:45am and 6:15pm, Monday to Friday.
