Hours: Full-time

Work Pattern:  3 days remote, 2 days in the office. But may also require attendance at events and workshops.

PAYE Pay Rate: £363.82 per day

Main Purpose of the Role

To lead and coordinate the delivery of SEND Reform projects across Somerset, with a particular focus on the Experts at Hand (EAH) Locality Delivery Model, supporting the wider SEND Improvement Programme and SEND Reform Plan for children and young people aged 0–25.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mobilise and deliver SEND Reform projects across Somerset.
  • Lead implementation of the EAH Locality Delivery Model.
  • Manage project plans, milestones, risks and governance reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with education, health, council and SEND stakeholders.
  • Coordinate communications, evaluation and performance reporting.
  • Support recruitment, procurement, commissioning and contract management.
  • Work closely with the SEND Reform Partnership Board and key partners.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Project management and stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Experience delivering SEND improvement projects.
  • Experience with recruitment, commissioning/procurement and contract management.
  • Strong partnership working and communication skills.
  • Relevant project management qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM) – essential
  • SEND-related qualification or equivalent experience – desirable
