Work pattern:3 days remote, 2 in office
PAYE Pay Rate: £28.79 per hour

Main Purpose

To lead the Council’s property and asset management activities, ensuring its property portfolio is well managed, financially sustainable and supports service delivery, development and regeneration objectives.

Typical Day

  • Manage property and development projects.

  • Review and improve the Council’s property portfolio.

  • Lead acquisitions, disposals and estate rationalization.

  • Provide advice on valuations, leases and property matters.

  • Prepare reports, business cases and recommendations.

  • Work with senior leaders, elected Members and external partners.

  • Manage and develop the professional property team.

  • Monitor budgets, performance and risks.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant property subject.

  • MRICS or FRICS.

  • Significant property/asset management experience.

  • Experience of valuations and landlord & tenant matters.

  • Experience of property development or regeneration.

  • Experience managing professional teams.

  • Experience managing budgets and delivering efficiencies.

  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
