PAYE Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

Main Purpose of the Role

To provide effective administrative and operational support to the Business Services Co-ordinator and wider team, ensuring business support activities are delivered efficiently, accurately and to a high standard.

Typical Day

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Business Services team.
  • Manage correspondence, enquiries and routine communications.
  • Organise meetings, prepare agendas and take accurate notes/minutes.
  • Maintain accurate records, documents, trackers and management systems.
  • Arrange travel, accommodation and other business requirements.
  • Support procurement, supplier and contract administration.
  • Monitor actions, deadlines and outstanding tasks.
  • Prepare reports, documents and communications.
  • Liaise with internal teams, customers, suppliers and external stakeholders.
  • Identify issues, resolve routine queries and escalate complex matters when required.
  • Support continuous improvement of administrative processes.

Essential Requirements / Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an administrative, business support or coordination role.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience maintaining records, databases, trackers or management systems.
  • Experience dealing with customers, colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • No specific professional qualification is essential, although a relevant administration, business support or customer service qualification would be desirable.
