Work Pattern: 37 hours a week
PAYE Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Main Purpose of the Role
To provide effective administrative and operational support to the Business Services Co-ordinator and wider team, ensuring business support activities are delivered efficiently, accurately and to a high standard.
Typical Day
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Business Services team.
- Manage correspondence, enquiries and routine communications.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas and take accurate notes/minutes.
- Maintain accurate records, documents, trackers and management systems.
- Arrange travel, accommodation and other business requirements.
- Support procurement, supplier and contract administration.
- Monitor actions, deadlines and outstanding tasks.
- Prepare reports, documents and communications.
- Liaise with internal teams, customers, suppliers and external stakeholders.
- Identify issues, resolve routine queries and escalate complex matters when required.
- Support continuous improvement of administrative processes.

Essential Requirements / Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative, business support or coordination role.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience maintaining records, databases, trackers or management systems.
- Experience dealing with customers, colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- No specific professional qualification is essential, although a relevant administration, business support or customer service qualification would be desirable.
